My first experience with Scrum was as a developer. I was stuck in a tiny room alone with a tester and we were tasked with completing a selection of User Stories. Our desks meant we had our backs to each other but it was still better than being in separate offices. Participating in that experiment, which eventually expanded to 6 full scrum teams for whom I was one of the Scrum Masters, was a life changing experience. Sometime it’s amazing to think how much I’ve learnt by focusing on value delivery and continuous improvement.
I became a Scrum Master because, after my own experiences, I believe that Agile and Scrum have the ability to make developers and business people’s lives better.
With this blog I hope to share my experiences and learnings with others.
